IOU Terms of Use

Welcome to IOU, a social platform designed to promote gratitude, appreciation, and positive interactions within communities. By downloading, accessing, or using our application (“App”), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

1. Purpose of the App

IOU is a platform where users can share, record, and celebrate expressions of gratitude. The app allows users to:

  • * Create and share posts of appreciation
  • * Join gratitude circles and communities
  • * Earn virtual recognition (such as IOU TOKENS & IOU COINS) for participating in positive interactions & sharing more and more gratitude within the community.
  • * Connect with others in a respectful and uplifting way

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 14 years old to use IOU. By using the app, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3. User Conduct

You agree not to use IOU to:

  • * Post harmful, offensive, or abusive content
  • * Engage in harassment, bullying, or hate speech
  • * Share content that violates intellectual property rights
  • * Use the platform for spam, unauthorized promotions, or fraudulent activity

IOU reserves the right to remove any content or suspend accounts that violate these rules.

4. Virtual Rewards

Users may earn IOU TOKENS & IOU COINS through participation in activities on the app.

  • * These Rewards are **non-monetary**, have **no cash value**, and cannot be exchanged for money or goods.
  • * Rewards are provided solely as a way to encourage and recognize user participation.
  • * IOU may change, modify, or discontinue the Reward system at any time.

5. Privacy & Data Use

6. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, and designs of IOU belong to IOU Inc. Users retain ownership of the content they create but grant IOU a limited license to display it within the app.

7. Limitation of Liability

IOU is provided “as is.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free operation, or any specific outcomes from using the app. IOU is not responsible for damages resulting from your use of the app.

8. Modifications to Terms

IOU may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated terms.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct harmful to the IOU community.
